GOVERNING BODY GP PRACTICE MEMBER RECRUITMENT
You can make a real difference to local people’s healthcare because as clinicians you know your patients and their needs.
Since the CCG was formed, we have developed and grown as a Membership organisation, living our values as we work towards achieving our vision. Through clinical engagement driving our commissioning activities we have already seen improved outcomes for patients in many areas.
The CCG’s Constitution states that every two to three years all Governing Body member terms of office should be subject to election.
For April 2018:
- GP Practice Member Representative, 483 hours/year - £87.57 per hour (term of office – 3 years)
This is a great opportunity for an established clinician to join our excellent clinical and managerial team and make a real difference to local people’s healthcare.
As a member of the Governing Body you will be expected to embody our values and show a strong alignment to our strategic vision. Also you will bring the right skills and experience to influence, and contribute to commissioning at a strategic level.
Should you wish to explore this opportunity and wish to have an informal discussion, in the first instance please contact Dr David Spraggett, Chair at David.Spraggett@castlemc.nhs.uk or contact Senior PA, Carolyn Bennett on 01926 353 706.
